A Letter from Daniel Caldwell

Daniel Caldwell is a Texan with a long legacy of serving his country in both the private and the public sector. Caldwell was a U.S. Marine Corps recruiting avionics technician in Camp Pendleton, California from 1990 to 1995. Caldwell used his electronics skills learned in the Marine Corps to work for SpeedFam-IPEC as a field service engineer. For seven years, Caldwell then worked for the prestigious firm Texas Instruments including in their project engineering, from 1999-2006. Caldwell enjoyed his field and moved from strength to strength. In 2007, Caldwell was a facility member at QuantumClean. QuantumClean focused on advanced thermal spray technology on various surfaces. Caldwell’s engineering background continued to serve him well as he decided to found his own company, EDAQ Solutions in 2009. Caldwell’s connections to Texas Instruments hadn’t faded despite him taking his own path, and he worked for Texas Instruments for a further eleven years. Caldwell is the father of a teenager and has missed several important health screenings since his incarceration. The following is an excerpt of one of his letters to Patriot Freedom Project:

“February 2 2022

Cynthia,

I wanted to take a moment to thank you for all your support and assistance you have shown my family and me as well as so many other detainees, charged people and their families!! We all know your level of dedication to start, manage and maintain the Patriot Freedom Project. Your constant time and effort are honestly priceless and I want you to know that I would not be where I am personally if I felt I didn’t have you and your supporters willing to help! On behalf of my family, THANK YOU!! We are truly blessed and I pray God blesses you for your good deeds!
Sincerely,

Daniel Caldwell”
